Skin type varies from a person to
person; some have oily skin while other might have dry or sensitive
skin. The skin type that is most frustrating to have is the oily skin
because it is more reactive to climatic conditions and weather. Oily
skin is usually hereditary and adult acne, oily look, blackheads, white
heads and open pores are the common problems related to this skin type.
People with oily skin mostly have to face adult acne problem from the
age of 18 years to 29. There are a lots of adult acne tips which can be
useful depending upon the skin type.
Treatment of adult acne is a time taking process and it is necessary
to know about its causes. Main causes of the pimples are the excessive
production of oil by skin and hormonal changes. These changes are at
their peak at the young age of 18 – 20 years and because of this,
pimples appear on the face. Mental stress and tension can be also be
silent causes of the adult acne. Infection and improper functioning of
the liver can also result in dark spots and pimples appear on the skin.

- An effective remedy for adult acne is using herbal and medicated facial treatments as they removes blackheads and impurities from the skin.
- Lemon juice can do an excellent job in removing the acne. Mix lemon juice and coconut oil, apply with cotton on the face and then wash your face after ten minutes.
- To remove pimples, take aspirin tablets and grind the tablets. Mix the aspirin powder in lemon juice and apply on the effected pars of the skin before going to sleep. Wash your face in the morning.
- Aloe Vera pulp is very useful to treat adult acne.
Precautions:
- To avoid acne you should wash your face with plain water as many times as possible in a day with a good anti-acne soap.
- Do not try to extract the pimples because this can result in the swelling of the skin and it creates more pimples.
- People who are having acne should use their own separate soap and towel to avoid germ contact from other people.
- Avoid the cosmetics that are oily in nature. For instance, cleansing should not be done with cleansing milk and instead you should use oil free cleanser or cleansing cream.
- Do not touch your acne repeatedly, in order to keep it away from infection.
- Avoid direct exposure of the affected skin to the sunrays because sunlight has UV rays can aggravate the situation.
- Avoid spicy and oily foods like burgers, pizza, oil cooked french-fries and the likes.
- Eat fresh vegetables and drink plenty of water; it keeps your skin fresh and problem free.
- In case of severe adult acne problem, consult to the doctor.
