Skin Cancer, Types of Skin Cancer And Causes of Skin Cancer
Cancer is a fatal condition in which there is an uncontrollable division of body cells. Cancerous cells invade the tissues and in some cases, these cells grow very rapidly and attack on the lymphatic system. There are lots of reasons of the skin cancer and among those reasons harmful sunrays are the one.
Types of skin cancer:
Usually cancer is divided in three basic types.
- Basel Cells Carcinoma
- Squamous Cells Carcinoma
- Melanoma
Basal Cells Carcinoma:
It usually affects the skin areas that are directly in contact with the sun rays like face, neck, shoulder, hands and skull. Sometimes it attacks on the small & thin veins where blood continuously flow though the crust and tumor.
Squamous cells Carcinoma:
This type of cancer is more dangerous than the first one and red patches appears on the skin areas, which are directly exposed to the sun light.
Melanoma:
Spots of pink or red color appear on the skin, which are called Amelanotic Melanoma. The symptoms of melanoma skin cancer are the changing size and color of the spots. It may cause severe itching.
Causes of skin cancer:
This deadly disease can be caused due to some factors, which are given below.
- Sun rays are one of the main reasons of the skin cancer that affects the skin cells and tissues.
- As you all know that smoking is very injurious to the health and cause a large number of diseases. Skin and mouth cancer are among those diseases.
- Injections that are injected during HPV can cause Squamous cells Carcinoma.
- Skin cancer actually starts from the outer most layer of the skin, which is called as epidermis. Epidermis is the layer of the skin that protects the cells of the skin from the external damaging effects. When epidermis becomes weak, the cells become prone to the external effects.
- You may have heard that X ray cause skin cancer. It is said because of the fact that the chemicals used in X ray machine cause cancer.
- Skin cancer can be caused due to Tanning booths.
- Skin cancer is a contagious disease that can be transfers from allergic skin to the skin of others.
- Always avoid ultra violet rays because these rays directly affect the skin.Sun rays contain ultra violet rays that adversely affect our skin.
