Cabbage is a vegetable with round shape and soft light green in colour. The main reason behind its light colour unlike other vegetables is that cabbage is covered with leaves and is not exposed to direct sunlight.
Cabbage is rich in Vitamin C; it even
contains more vitamin C than Oranges. Vitamin C in cabbage helps in the
growth and development of the body. Apart from vitamin C, It also
strengthens the immune system. Apart from vitamin C it also contains
vitamin E which keeps eyes and hairs healthy. Because cabbage is also a
rich source of fiber, it is also extremely useful for the people
suffering from constipation or any other related diseases. Sulphur in

source of sulphur is also cabbage.
Cabbage is also rich in iodine, which is

system. A research also proved that light cooked raw cabbage helps to

thoroughly cooked cabbage and therefore it is recommended to eat lightly

Though there are some health benefits of
cabbage but there are some drawbacks of eating cabbage a well. The most
important drawback of eating cabbage is that it doesn’t taste good, you
will need to add something in it to give it a taste but this also kills
its nutrition to some extent. Cabbage is a favourite vegetable of some
people but it is not good enough to be added in a daily diet plan. It
should be eaten less often.
