Blood Transfusion Side Effects

Blood Transfusion is a process of transmission of Blood from one person to another in emergency cases. Although this is a life saving process but some problems may also occur during blood transfusion some of which include high temperature, headache, vomiting and allergy. Another important thing regarding blood transfusion is that many fatal diseases like Hepatitis, AIDS etc. can also be transformed from one person to another. Special care should be taken to avoid diseases while blood transfusion process. While transferring blood some points must be kept in mind.
  • Matching the blood type is very important because if the blood does not match it may even cause death. Sometimes even blood of the same blood group does not match because of several other elements in the blood.
  • Some times while transfusion of blood the person might get allergic this causes skin to become red. Moreover, the person might have problems in breathing and the body temperature gradually starts to increase.
  • If there occurs any reaction while transfusion the blood might start to excrete with urination, which may also create serious problems for dis-functioning of kidneys.
  • If the transferred blood is infected then the person might suffer from the diseases like hepatitis. If the blood is not properly cross-matched then the blood starts to excrete with urine and the blood cells also start to break.
  • Old people might have heart and lungs problems and diseases, which are very problematic for blood transfusion. And there are hyper reactions in body because of these problems. So for them the blood must be transferred after 2 to 3 hours to old people. Blood transfusion may be very harmful for these people and cause pain in there chest and heart. Heart pain causes overload of work for heart and the new blood sometimes might not be fulfilling the heart requirements.
  • While transfusion of blood the liver might get diseased this might cause hepatitis. In hepatitis the suspect starts to suffer from fever and it feels pain when the liver is under pressure, moreover the stomach also gets much disturbed. Appetite gets very low and the belly starts to grow. Acidity and constipation are mostly reported during the disease. If the liver gets highly affected or in the final stages of hepatitis the stomach is filled with water and the complexion turns pale.
  • While blood transfusion many diseases are transferred to people. A few diseases generate from this transfusion. If the person who is donating the blood has viruses in his blood then this blood might create very heart threatening diseases in recipient’s body.
  • Sometimes the needle used to transfer the blood might be unsterilised which also transfers the viruses. Or if the place from where the blood is to inserted in the body is not cleaned with sprit then this may also insert the viruses.

  1. I was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
liver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from
ULTIMATE LIFE CLINIC (www.ultimatelifeclinic.com) in March, 2020. Their
treatment totally reversed the virus. I did another blood test after
the 6 months long treatment and tested negative to the virus. Amazing
treatment! This treatment is a breakthrough for all HBV carriers.
